HELLO, I’m HRant.

Most design is forgettable. Not because the people making it lack talent, but because they lack the courage to stand for something. That courage is non-negotiable here. Because design that does not challenge, provoke, or move people is just noise. And there is already enough of that.

Lasting impact

Designs that last, systems that function and teams that are led with empathy and attention to details.

ABOUT ME

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, and raised in Europe, he carries a creative perspective that was never going to be ordinary. The ornament-rich visual language of the Caucasus and the clean, restrained European aesthetic he grew up with never quite settled into one another, and that tension became the foundation of everything he does. He studied at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design, where that instinct was sharpened into craft.

From early on, design was never just a profession. During his formative years he committed himself to causes built on real values, volunteering in the Image and Marketing department of the UN Youth Association of Romania, co-founding the Armenian Youth Organization, and pouring that same energy into preserving the cultural identity he was raised to be proud of. In 2012, together with a group of likeminded people, he co-founded the Festivalul Strada Armeneasca, the Armenian Street Festival, carrying its visual identity from the very first edition through what in 2026 marks its 10th anniversary and draws close to 30,000 visitors each year. That same year he began working with the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), designing visual campaigns and contributing to the effort that helped bring a Treaty Banning Nuclear Weapons to the United Nations. In 2017, ICAN was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Throughout all of it, design was the common thread, the means through which every commitment found its form.

In 2024, he became the first Diaspora Youth Ambassador from Romania, a recognition that formalized what had always been true: that his work and his identity have never been separate things, and that design, in his hands, has always been an instrument of cultural diplomacy.

Professionally, he has spent over a decade building a practice where branding and visual identity sit at the core, extending into marketing and advertising, print and publication, packaging, and digital and web design. When Codemelt was founded, he was there from day one, helping shape the company's creative direction from the ground up and growing alongside it as Creative Director, leading a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, illustrators, and UI/UX designers across projects spanning digital, print, 3D animation, and hardware products, for a studio that works across both traditional and web3 technologies.

He works with his gut, his heart, and an unwavering standard for what good looks like. He brings strategic thinking and genuine craft to every project, and the kind of presence that makes a creative team want to do their best work. If you are building something that deserves to be seen, he is the person you want in the room.
