As someone that strongly believes in volunteering, I couldn’t refuse this creative yet challenging experience called CreateAthon Romania- 2019, hosted for the first time in Romania by Centrul de Resurse in Comunicare.
Long story short, 10 NGOs were selected to receive a fresh start with a full rebranding and communications boost, from 70 professionals that had to deliver everything from scratch, in less than 24h.
The team I was part of included copywriters, a marketing specialist, a storyteller, one web developer and a graphic designer.
And the NGO we worked for was Asociatia Zimbrul Carpatin, located in Ploiesti, promoting ecologically responsible outdoor activities, from preserving the forests, to mountainous sports.
My 24h to-do list included: 1 new logo for the association, 1 key visual, new badges, a brochure that promotes their activity, basic printable for the brand(business cards, letterhead, etc.) a call to action poster, and a new logo for the mountain relay they host annually.
